Skin Camouflage Yorkshire is run by Anna Porter, a fully qualified Skin Camouflage & Medical Tattoo Practitioner and member of the British Association of Skin Camouflage, B.A.S.C.
Working as a medical photographer in the NHS Anna became interested in ways to help people recover at the end of their surgical journey. Many patients would feel self-conscious of scarring and "incomplete" after breast reconstruction surgery.
"I feel it's really important that after a sometimes life changing event there are small things we can do to improve a person's wellbeing and restore their self-confidence."
Be it covering scars, a skin condition, unwanted tattoos on a wedding photo or creating a 3D nipple and areola post breast reconstruction Anna offers a bespoke service to suit your needs, working to get the best possible outcome for you.
Anna also provides Expert Witness reports for the courts and referrals from private insurers and rehabilitation services.

Skin Camouflage
Using highly pigmented, waterproof, medically approved creams and fixing powders to significantly improve the appearance of a variety of skin conditions such as scarring, burns, lentigo, acne, vitiligo, melasma and skin grafts. Also great for covering unwanted tattoos or beard shadow.
Appointments are 45 minutes which include consultation, application, instruction and GP prescription request if applicable.
Please note that skin must be fully healed and free from infection.
3D Nipple/Areola Tattooing
Using medical grade pigments and a variety of shading techniques the nipple and areola area are recreated to give a natural appearance.
Appointment times are 2 hrs.
Two review and "top up" appointments will be needed between 4 and 6 weeks after each session.
Please note a patch test is required at least 24 hrs prior to treatment.

I am both BUPA and Vitality Health recognised for areola tattooing. Please let me know if you wish to proceed via your medical insurers prior to booking, as you will need pre-authorisation.
Microneedling for Scars & Burns
Micro-needling or dry tattooing activates the body's wound healing process by piercing the top layer of skin with tiny needles. This stimulates collagen and elastin, relaxes and softens tight or burns scars and re-pigments white scars.
Repeat treatments may be needed.
Appointment length and price are dependent on scar size.
Scar camouflage tattooing
Camouflage Tattooing is a more permanent way to cover scars, burns and skin grafts.
A skin match is done using medical grade pigments and tattooed into the scar helping it to blend in with the surrounding skin.
Appointment times and prices are dependent on scar size.
